Kansas State School for the Blind Highlight Sizzle Release Today!

The highlight sizzle from the Kansas State School for the Blind event, the last competition of 2022 has dropped.





With help from Make48’s tool techs and mentors, 19 students went to work to build their prototype, an egg container that holds, displays and potentially dispenses farm fresh eggs. The students were broken up into six teams with a team leader from companies including; Operation Breakthrough, The KC Eye Clinic, TRANE, Wet & Forget, Children’s Mercy, The Debruce Foundation and the KC Blind All-Stars Foundation.


Many companies helped bring this event to life including; ShopBot Tools, Airgas, Onshape, MatterHackers, Ultimaker, Fastenal, Metal Supermarkets and Westlake Ace Hardware as well as our trusted Tool Techs. The winning team will go on to compete at Nationals this spring in Kansas City, MO for a chance to win $10,000!
