Catch STEM In Action! Make48 Season 9 Nationals Sizzle Reel is Here

The Final Make48 event of 2025 has wrapped, and what a way to close out the year! We invite you to take a glimpse of the Season 9 Nationals as it unfolded in Fishers, IN, hosted by the incredible Fishers Maker Playground.

Six outstanding teams banded together to take on the Corteva Agriscience “Food Forward” challenge. It was a whirlwind 48-hour competition filled with collaboration, STEM education, innovation, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Catch the energy and watch the highlights!

A New Era of Innovation

This was not just an ordinary competition; this was Nationals. Season 9 marked a major milestone for Make48: it was the very first season where all competing teams were between the ages of 12 and 22, having already proven themselves in regional events.

This represents just the beginning of Make48’s focused “Classroom Innovation” competition. Seeing six teams from various schools across the country step up to the plate was inspiring. We can’t wait to see more students catch the “Make48 bug” in the future!

More Than Just a Competition

While the teams were hard at work solving the “Food Forward” challenge, the magic of the weekend extended far beyond the prototypes.

There is a reason our Tool Techs return season after season. And there’s a reason we see the same faces volunteering their time again and again. They are drawn to the infectious energy that permeates a Make48 weekend.

From the leadership at Corteva and local food pantries to the invaluable contributions of teachers, mentors, and the Fishers Maker Playground community, the event fostered a true atmosphere of camaraderie. As the 48-hour clock wound down, it wasn’t just about who won – it was about the bonds forged between students, volunteers, and Tool Techs that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.

Thank you to everyone who made Season 9 Nationals a memorable event!
