KC United Art Festival for Monkey Brain Art | Benefitting Veterans, First Responders and Caregivers

Come out for the KC United Art Festival for Monkey Brain Art in Kansas City on Saturday, October 8th from 10am - 6pm at the World War I Memorial.

KC United Art festival is a benefit for Monkey Brain Art. Monkey Brain Art is a 501c3 that teaches art, meditation and mindfulness to veterans, first responders and caregivers who suffer with PTSD.

The festival will have warrior artists and community artists showing their art. There will be a wide variety of art for sale and 100% of the sale goes back to the artist. Renowned local artist Vania Soto will lead the kid's art project area from 10:30am-1:30pm.

There will be a diverse showing of art, food trucks, kid's art area and projects. Look for the community art project where everyone will be able to participate in creating a community piece of art. Catch the featured band Green Shoe Box led by Air Force veteran Stan Adell. This Event is FREE to the public.

Monkey Brain Art has three locations where 9 week courses teach Warriors how to use art, meditation, and mindfulness to calm their minds from the devastating effects of PTSD. All money raised by the festival will be used to fund classes and further the mission. Learn more about the organization by visiting their website https://monkeybrainart.org/
