Make48 announced on Monday that they secured community media partnerships with KWCH-DT and SummitMedia in Wichita, Kansas.
KWCH is a CBS-affiliate station servicing the greater Wichita, Kansas region, owned by Gray Television, Inc. As part of the agreement, KWCH-DT will have exclusive televised media access to the Make48-GoCreate event in Wichita on June 24 - 26th across their markets.
Summit Radio is represented in Wichita, Kansas with five separate listening stations including; 101.3 (KFDI); 104.5 The Fox (KFXJ); Classic Country 1070 (KFTI); Radio Lobo 106.5 (KYQQ); and T95 The Rock Station (KICT). Their broadcasting company, SummitMedia, LLC has offices in ten markets across the United States.
CEO of Make48, Tom Gray spoke about the recent partnership. “These partnerships will provide city residents access to the Wichita event without the concerns of any public element. The action of what happens during and after the event is always the highlight that everyone looks forward to watching.”

The 2-day Maker event will be held at GoCreate with Koch Industries providing the challenge the teams will solve for the event. The challenge will be Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship: Doing More with Less. Teams can apply on the competition webpage at https://make48.com/wichita.
