With over a century of experience in cutting-edge products, comprehensive welding processes and automated solutions, Lincoln Electric offers everything Makers need for their welding, cutting and safety needs. From Wichita to Milwaukee, teams utilized the Lincoln Electric technicians throughout the 48 hours of competition to build their ideas for the challenge.

Maker Lucas D’Angelo (@mannmadeinma) is a big fan of Lincoln Electric. He has assisted many teams as a Tool Tech, helping create their prototypes using the Lincoln welding equipment at Make48 events. “Aside from being a supportive and positive company to work with, Lincoln also makes some of the best equipment out there. That means when it comes to getting builds done in the 48 hour timeline, I can always count on Lincoln welders to come through.”

In two months, the National Competition will come alive in Kansas City, Missouri with seven teams competing at The University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Innovation Studio beginning March 31st. We can’t wait to see what ideas the competitors will brainstorm in the 48 hours, and how the technicians will bring them to fruition using technology from companies like Lincoln Electric.
