Dallas, TX (August 20, 2025) – Make48 is back for its highly anticipated Ninth season, and it's kicking off with the regional competition in Dallas, Texas.
The new season will premiere on Roku's This Old House Makers Channel on Wednesday, September 3rd, with two back-to-back episodes beginning at 9 PM EST (8 PM CST). Viewers can also stream the episodes on demand the next day.

This season's competition took place at Vandermont School, where six teams, each led by an SMU captain, were challenged to create innovative, solar-powered solutions for modern backyard living.
With support from challenge sponsors RoofMaster and Signature Solar, teams were pushed to develop new concepts for roof-integrated solutions, energy efficiency, outdoor entertainment, functional structures, and smart landscaping. The teams had full access to the resources they needed, thanks to additional support from local sponsors Arete Health, T1 Race Development, Bestagon HUB, G4 Brothers, and Westlake ACE Hardware.
