The Challenge: “The Great Escape”
Filmed at the beautiful Kansas City Art Institute, this season’s challenge tasked teams with designing a physical product for a modern "She Shed." Their goal was to create a personalized sanctuary that could serve various purposes, such as a creative studio or small business hub.
This event was made possible by the overwhelming support from numerous companies and organizations who believe in the future of Women in STEM, as well as our tool techs and mentors who worked tirelessly alongside the teams. Their expertise and guidance were instrumental in helping these students navigate the design and fabrication process, ensuring their innovative "She Shed" concepts became a reality.
