The Road to Season 9 Nationals Ended
in Fishers, Indiana
Make48 is a 48-hour competition where teams are presented with a challenge and tasked to build a physical prototype, create a sales sheet, produce a 1-minute marketing video and pitch their big idea to a panel of judges.

The Maker Playground features several zones throughout the space for you to tinker and create, including a community workshop, wood shop, 3D printing space, metal shop, CNC router, laser cutters, and more. It offers several community programs and classes from an after-school STEM club to DIY classes and construction training.
In November 2025, Fishers Maker Playground became the stage for Season 9 Nationals, bringing together six teams who earned their spots by placing in the top two at regional competitions earlier in the year. With expert tool technicians and cutting edge equipment on hand, teams were empowered to turn their ideas into fully realized builds.

Throughout the challenge, collaboration shaped every success. While big ideas are common, the resources to prototype them are not, and Nationals bridged that gap. By uniting diverse skills, materials and equipment under one roof, Make48 delivered a fast paced, hands on experience that pushed each team to create their best work. In the end, the first place team walked away with ten thousand dollars and well earned bragging rights.
