Celebrating Leadership at 99th National FFA Convention & Expo
Thousands of blue jackets took over Indianapolis last week for the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo. Held from October 21–23 at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center, the energy was high as students, alumni, and agricultural leaders gathered to explore the future of science, business, and innovation.
Representing Make48, Tom Gray and Sharrell Howard were on the ground taking part in the excitement. From exhibitor booths and workshops to collegiate chapter networking and awards, there was something for everyone to jump into.
For Tom, returning to the convention is always a highlight. "It’s simply one of the most exciting and inspiring environments you can experience. I enjoyed learning about all possible learning curriculums available to Ag teachers Seeing that level of drive and ingenuity in young leaders is incredible.”
It marked Sharrell’s first year attending the expo, and she was blown away by the convention and the FFA members. “The passion and creativity in every hall was infectious. You immediately see how these students are ready to reshape the industry.”

Next year marks the 100th National FFA Convention, and Make48 will be right back in the mix to celebrate a full century of youth leadership and hands-on problem-solving.
