We are pleased to announce our partnership with Lincoln Electric®, the world leader in the design, development and manufacturing of welders and arc welding products and systems, has been extended into 2022.

With over a century of experience, Lincoln Electric is a great example of a sponsor expanding its support in the Maker community. We are thrilled to have them continue that partnership entering the new year. Lincoln Electric believes in supporting education at many levels including organizations that teach welding and the skilled trades. Through its partnership with Make48, Lincoln Electric aims to inspire young people, creators and makers, on the latest technologies involving safety, quality, and productivity.

At our most recent event the tool techs collaborated on a breathtaking piece for the leadership at GoCreate. Makers designed and built the one-of-a-kind gift entirely onsite. Lucas D’Angelo led the team in the build and has a lot of experience using Lincoln tools. “Since my own shop is entirely Lincoln equipment, I was so happy to have Lincoln machines available at Make48, to use while fabricating projects. It’s what I am used and that allows me to focus more energy and time on helping the teams!” Watch the video reel from @mannmadeinma

April is also National Welding Month. The American Welding Society established National Welding Month in 1996 to celebrate the historical importance of welding in our lives. And to promote the skill and recognize an industry that keeps the world together. There are countless resources available to those wanting or just getting started in the welding industry.

As a global leader in Welding Education, Lincoln Electric is committed to providing each and every member of the welding community with the most well-rounded and comprehensive welding training programs in the industry. From products to training, all the way up to complete education solutions, Lincoln Electric provides equipment, curriculum, customized training, certifications, apprenticeship training and consulting to help companies set up the right infrastructure.
