The Delta School - Make48 Challenge Takes Place This Weekend

Make48 is heading to a new location this season! The Delta School will host the second event of 2024 in Wilson, Arkansas with seven teams competing. E-Z-GO, an innovator in the design and manufacturing of golf cars and personal transport vehicles, has set the challenge and it could be surprising to some. Details won’t be shared until the event kicks off this Friday, March 1, and the teams get to hear, for the first time, the full requirements.

March 1-3, 2024 | The Delta School Competition

Participants will arrive from high schools around the Northeastern, Arkansas region of The Bear State. The teams competing are Marion Makers (Marion High School), EPC Warriors (East Poinsett County High School), SeminolesEAST (Osceola High School), Mob Mentality (Rivercrest High School), Crosstown Yetis (Crosstown High School), The Knights of WMCS (West Memphis Christian School) and EAGLE Adapters (Greene County Tech High School).

Students will be helped by a dedicated crew of tool techs, mentors, and Delta School volunteers, who will make sure all the teams make it to the finish line. Bringing Make48 to the Delta Region, we will showcase the creative and entrepreneurial spirit through a unique 48-hour maker competition.

The success of this event wouldn't be possible without the generous support of various sponsors and partners. The Delta School, E-Z-GO, Sugg Construction, Lincoln Electric, Epilog Laser, Gridlock Table, Kreg Tool, The Restorer, Fastenal, ShopBot Tools, US Steel, Farmers Bank, Real Estate Practice Leader, Senter Farms, Entergy Arkansas, and Corteva Agriscience have all come together to make this two-day academic experience possible.

Make48 invites you to follow along on Instagram and other content channels throughout the weekend. Get ready to witness the magic unfold as these young minds embark on a journey of innovation.  Learn more about this event at https://www.make48.com/wilson-2024
