Now you can catch new episodes on Make48’s YouTube channel! Make48 has just released four inspiring episodes showcasing the regional rounds of its Season 7 competition. Held in locations across the Midwest, these episodes offer a glimpse into the imagination and teamwork of these aspiring inventors and entrepreneurs as they tackle unique challenges. Let's dive into the excitement!

Episode 1: Kansas State School For The Blind, KC, KS

In the heart of Kansas City, Kansas, the Make48 competition kicked off at The Kansas State School For The Blind. Six teams embarked on a mission to craft the perfect Skill & Action Toy. Guided by Design Edge's challenge, the teams had to create toys that were not just entertaining but also accessible to individuals or groups. 


Episode 2: Purdue Polytechnic-Anderson, IN

Next up, the action shifted to Purdue Polytechnic-Anderson in Indiana, where local students took on the Outdoor Furniture challenge. Tasked with designing portable and foldable furniture prototypes tailored for outdoor activities, the teams showcased their design prowess. From tailgating to camping, each prototype was crafted with outdoor enthusiasts in mind, promising both functionality and convenience.


Episode 3: The Lincoln Academy, Beloit, WI

Traveling to Beloit, Wisconsin, Make48 arrived at The Lincoln Academy for the “Panels to Planet/Repower with Purpose” challenge. Sponsored by Alliant Energy, teams were challenged to find innovative solutions for end-of-life solar panels while considering their community's needs. Sustainability meets creativity in this episode as teams strive to make a positive impact on the planet.


Episode 4: NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), Bentonville, AR

The final regional event unfolded at NorthWest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas. T-Mobile presented "The Great Outdoors" challenge, inspiring teams to create prototypes that encouraged outdoor activity while incorporating T-Mobile 5G connectivity. From hiking to geocaching, each prototype redefined outdoor experiences in the digital age.
